Explain your starting point
Describe your language skills, location and dates of availability honestly. Customer-facing experience can be relevant even if it comes from another setting. Whether a beginner can be considered depends on the specific opening; applying does not guarantee an immediate position or a particular destination.
Ask about the introduction
Find out who explains the duties and supports you during the first shift. If a trial period is mentioned, ask for its working and payment conditions before accepting. The word trial is not enough to establish what either side is agreeing to.
Check before travelling
Request the venue details, written terms and accommodation arrangements. Confirm transport separately and keep an alternative way to return home. A recruiter should be able to explain the offer without requiring you to travel first. Being new to the sector does not mean accepting unclear responsibilities.
