Recognise useful experience
Punctuality, listening and working with colleagues can help in a nightclub. Describe concrete examples from previous assignments rather than relying on impressive titles. Event experience is relevant, but it does not mean you already know the routines of a nighttime venue.
Check the differences
Hours, table conversation and pay arrangements may differ from reception or conference work. Ask about breaks, transport and accommodation. Do not assume that a nightclub role is simply the same event job performed later in the evening.
Assess the transition
Request an explanation of the shift from arrival to departure. Consider rest and daytime commitments, and clarify activities you do not want to perform. Identify your support contact. Moving between settings is a professional choice based on the actual offer, not an automatic next step in hospitality.
